Model U.N.

Hudson Catholic is a long-time participant in the St. Peter’s College Model United Nations.  Student delegates prepare articles reflecting their chosen nation’s position on one of several  significant international topics and then attend as a representative of that nation on any one of several committees. This program, which mimics the real U.N. in structure and procedure, gives students the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of complex foreign-policy issues and to try to negotiate agreements with representatives of other nations aimed at addressing real problems. Participants attend from dozens of high schools from across northern and central New Jersey.

Hudson Catholic students have been regularly recognized for their contribution their articles. This year we are proud that for the first time in memory, we will be fielding two complete delegations for the competition this March.
