The Alumni Leadership Program (ALP) originated in 1996 in direct response to then-Principal Brother Thomas Gerrow's expressed need to extend assistance to qualified and deserving prospective Hawks faced with financial hardship.
For 28 years since then, the ALP offers an alumnus or friend of Hudson Catholic the opportunity to make a difference in a young person's life by sponsoring an incoming student over the course of their high school years.
The ALP offers four-year tuition assistance awards based on privately funded commitments. They are bestowed on the basis of financial need, in the judgment of the Administration, and can be subject to restrictions placed by individual donors.
Since the program's inception, 39 ALP donors have opened their hearts by establishing awards that have provided $612,000 in aid through 535 awards to 213 Hawks who have since moved on to the ranks of alumni.
