School: A regional, co educational high school for young men of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark, established in 1964.
Mission: The mission of Hudson Catholic Regional High School, a Lasallian college preparatory school serving a diverse community, is to educate the young men entrusted to our care through a comprehensive and demanding curriculum, complemented by an integrated program of extracurricular activities emphasizing spiritual, social, and physical values, designed to encourage individual development and responsibility to the community.
Tuition: Tuition for 2008-2009 is $7, 500. There is a one-time $300.00 non-refundable registration fee for first year students. Financial aid, grants and scholarship opportunities are available.
Faculty: 25 faculty members (5 De La Salle Christian Brothers, 19 lay teachers and 1 diocesan priest) 75% hold a Masters Degree or better - 1 with Doctorate
Accreditation: Hudson Catholic Regional High School is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. It has been so recognized since 1970.
Academic Programs: College Preparatory Program of Studies Average class size = 22-24 students
Courses offered on the advanced levels: Honors (H) and Advanced Placement (AP) De La Salle Scholars Program (Monetary Scholarship) College Credit earned at St. Peters College and Seton Hall University.
Special Programs: Learning Center for Compensatory Education and Supplemental Instruction Healthcare Education Leadership Program ( partnership with Jersey City Medical Center).
Technology: 200 computers * 3 computer labs * High –speed cable internet (1500 K) * Mini-networks in labs * Video microscopy * Electronic balances * Digital microscopes * 3:1 student: computer ratio * Level 3 SMART classroom (Biology Lab), 10 Smart Boards.
Athletic and Extracurricular: 12 varsity sports, most with underclass levels.
Programs: Over 20 clubs and organizations including a Scholarship Music Fine Arts Program.
