May Students-of-the-Month Announced

Congratulations to senior Nessie Mae de Chavez  ’17, junior Jennifer Rubio ’18, sophomore Pamela Rodriguez ’19 and freshman David Carrera ’20.

 

 

 

 

Senior: Nessie Mae De Chavez – Nessie Mae transferred into Hudson Catholic from Clifton High School this year. She is a resident of Jersey City and a graduate of Christopher Columbus School in Clifton. She is an honor student whose favorite subject is Biology. She is a member of the Prom Committee. She plans on attending Hudson County Community College in the fall.

Junior: Jennifer Rubio – Jennifer is a resident of Jersey City and a graduate of St. Nicholas School. She is an honor student whose favorite subject is British Literature. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Hawk Drama Society, Lasallian Youth and an inaugural member of the Fashion and Modeling Club. She is also a member of the Hawk Softball as well as captain of the Hawks Girls’ Bowling team. Outside of Hudson, she is involved with the Pershing Field P.O.N.Y. League and the Washington Park Little League for Recreation Softball. Her older brother Gabriel ‘15 is an alumnus along with her uncle John Chavez.

Sophomore: Pamela Rodriguez – Pamela is a resident of Jersey City and a graduate of Academy #1 Middle School. She is a De La Salle Scholar whose favorite subject is American Literature. She was also named Student of the Month in her freshman year. She is a member of The Commentator. Outside of Hudson she volunteers at a community food bank.

Freshman: David Carrera – David is a resident of Weehawken and a graduate of St. Augustine School in Union City where he was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. He is a De La Salle Scholar whose favorite subject is History. He is a member of the Hawk Swim team and the Cooking Club.
