April Students-of-the-Month Announced!

Senior: Monika Bekhit – Monika is a resident of Bayonne and a graduate of Washington Community School. She is an honor student whose favorite subject is AP English. She is a member of the National Honor Society who was also named Student of the Month in her freshman year. She is co-captain of the Hawk varsity Girls’ Soccer team. She plans on studying Athletic Training and English Literature attending Ramapo College in the fall.

 

Junior: Alyson Holder – Alyson is a resident of Jersey City and a graduate of St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Jersey City where she received the science award at graduation. She is DeLaSalle Scholar whose favorite subject is Chemistry and who was also voted “Student of the Month” in her freshman and sophomore years. She is a member of the Hawk Drama Society where she has performed in last year’s production of “Little Shop of Horrors” as one of the ‘Ronettes’ and this year’s Christmas production of “The Grinch that Stole Christmas”. She is an inaugural member of the Modeling Club.

 

Sophomore: Jhelaine Palo – Jhelaine is a resident of Jersey City and a graduate of University of St. La Salle–Integrated School in Bacolod, Philippines and Washington Community School in Bayonne. She is a De La Salle Scholar whose favorite subject is Chemistry. She is a member of the Girls’ Soccer team. She is a member of the Philippine Red Cross and volunteers’ time at the Old Bergen Church food pantry.

 

Freshman: Leslie Vargas – Leslie is a resident of Jersey City and a graduate of Frank R. Conwell Middle School – M.S. 4. She is a De La Salle Scholar whose favorite subject is Biology. She is a member of the Art Club as well as the inaugural Girls’ Rugby team. Outside of Hudson, she is involved in boxing. Her older brother Limberg is a member of the junior class.
